In this episode of The Weight Loss Show, board-certified nutritionist and a certified functional nutrition and lifestyle practitioner, Amy White speaks about living a low-carb lifestyle and what holds many people back from having the success they want to get the outcomes they crave. The problem people face is that:

  • Many women (and men) approach low-carb eating as a diet, not a lifestyle
  • A person’s food environment can hold them back and many have not changed this environment as they get into low-carb eating
  • Managing your eating can be taken too far, and sometimes there can be an almost hyper-attention on the Macro-nutrient numbers (and you may be feeling stressed and unhealthy in perfectionism or obsessive habits)

Low-carb sounds easy enough, but many people take it to unhealthy places and one-size does not fit all. You have unique needs that can bring out your best, with the most successful outcomes for you.
