In this episode of The Weight Loss Show, certified health coach, Luz Chacon shares 5 strategies for controlling sugar cravings without feeling deprived. We talk about how the modern food environment contributes to sugar addiction and how sugar affects your body, brain, hormones and mood. We also talk about five root causes of sugar and carb cravings. 
The problem people face is:
  1. Cravings for sugar or refined carbs can derail your effort to eat healthy and hijack your taste buds.
  2. Eating too much sugar and refined carbohydrates leads to unstable blood sugar, which perpetuates sugar and carb cravings and can lead to weight gain and other health conditions.
  3. Sugar is addictive and added to the majority of processed foods, even those that are savory, which results in many people consuming much more than the recommended limits.
